11 Oct Carlit introduces new line of sustainable products that do not require cold preservation
The new line incorporates glass packaging and is introduced in the market for any wine
Carlit will present at the VII Nit del Gourmet Català the new range of products packaged in glass packaging.
Thus, the trinxat and pa de fetge, Carlit’s emblematic products, will not require cold storage. In addition to facilitating conservation for customers, the glass packaging is another step forward in the firm commitment of the Puigcerdà producer to advance in sustainability, as the glass packaging is 100% recyclable.
Likewise, the new packaging allows Carlit to open new sales channels, because the establishments will no longer need to have refrigerated displays for their products. In addition, in the supermarkets, the carcasses and the fettuccine can be located in other sections that are not refrigerated.
The opening of new sales channels was already evident during the pandemic with the opening of Carlit’s online store.
Carlit’s manager, Xavier Espuña, assures that “the commitment to sustainability has meant a very important investment and effort for a company like us, but being sustainable is not an option. It is an obligation”.
The new packaging is part of the economic, environmental and social sustainability actions that we have called “Compromisos Carlit”.
